INDOOR  INSTALLATION:

  •   No Electrical plug allowed under hob
  • Plug and isolater switch not allowed at top of gas hob or oven and must be 200mm from side o
  • No electrical plug in same cupboard as gas cylinder
  • When install in a cupboard , the cupboard must have ventilation.
  • Some appliances(Gas geysers, Fire Place, some gas braais) need permanent ventilation to the outside.
  • Cylinder not allowed in garage.


 OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS

  •  Gas cylinder must be 5m from point of ignition(Plug,electrical geyeser, aircon,swiming pool pump ...)
  • Gas cylinder must at least 2m from a drain
  • Gas cylinder must 1m from window, door or any opening that leads in to the house.
